At some point in our lives, we heed advice from people. When we do so, we hope to learn from their experiences and hopefully not make the same mistakes as them. Sometimes even without us asking for advice, people offer them. But for anyone to offer us advice, it shows that they care and are willing to have a stake in our problems (when he/she doesn't actually have to).

But just cause there's an advice, it doesn't necessarily mean that we have to take them. Cause when things go well, great! But when they don't, who's to blame? Most give their two cents worth based on their past experiences, prejudices or perhaps even their own preferences "buy the blackberry not the iphone, cause I hate touch screens".

I guess most people, myself included, are afraid to live with the consequence of a wrong decision. But really, we learn most when the going gets tough. We just have to trust ourselves and work hard at it. Things may or may not go your way but we'll always come out stronger, better and perhaps a little wiser.
